Hair Dye That Changes Due To Temperature!

Hair Dye That Changes Due To Temperature!

July 31, 2017

Fire dye was introduced at London Fashion Week in February 2017. This hair dye changes color based on temperature fluctuations. Available in colors ranging from bright red to subtle pastels, currently lasting over a few washes. The dye can be red when outside and change into a more natural color when the person goes indoors. The carbon-based molecules of Fire will alter the light absorption when subjected to temperature changes. These molecules are responsible for the alteration of the hair dye’s color. Developed by THE UNSEEN, an exploration house that blends matter into materials, combining science with art, design and performance.
